Star for Selina 25, 26 from Virtual Quilter

Like pretty much all of my pieced block designs, I designed a block, then added pieced and took pieces away to make a collection of blocks. The original  part of Star for Selina is used in the centre of both these designs, all the rest have some parts removed.

The first design is my pick of today’s pair of designs.

Vivienne’s Star Quilt 21, 22 from Virtual Quilter

Pick a star block, and make some blocks as the instructions show, then make others with some of the coloured fabrics replaced by the background fabric. Note that some seam lines can be eliminated in th e background changes.

My favourite of these two is the second one, but it was a hard choice.
